- Serves on the Board of Directors of First State Bank Southwest in Worthington MN since 1996
- Chairman of the Board at Dordt College from 1999-2000, Also served on the board from Oct. 1996-Aug of 2002
- Owner/Founder of Chocolaterie Stam, Rochester MN in 2008-present

- Employed at Farm Journal Magazine, Chicago IL as a circulation specialist
- Married Ronald Schaap in 1970. Mother of three daughters, Grandmother to seven grandchildren
- Served on several Mother’s Club boards with the main focus of raising funds to keep Christian education affordable to all families
- Assumed responsibilities of running a successful third generation business, while maintaining outside interests in church and schools
- Assisting in forming a chocolate business 6 years ago

- Married to Travis Yager, and has 3 children

- Served as Executive Director of Pregnancy Choices in Mount Vernon WA from October 2002 to Feb. 2006, also served on the Board of Directors during that time
